Epiphone FT-30 Caballero Acoustic Guitar, Very Nice Mahogany. Made In USA Kalamazoo Mich Original Softshell Case.  This guitar has the same specs as the Gibson LG-0 according to the research we have found. The finish is very nice and the guitar appears to have been kept in the house as there is no visible checking, The bridge may have been changed but we do not know for sure. There is plenty of room to file the bridge down for lower action if you prefer. The neck is straight and the guitar is fun to play with the set up it now has. The headstock is of the early 60's design and the guitar has a five digit serial number. The light brown color soft shell case looks to be original and has what looks like a water stain on the side toward the front but not affecting the guitar at all. The nut measures 1 11/16 width. This is the smaller body that is very sought after these days, the guitar is very easy to handle and very comfortable. Check out the pics and we welcome any questions as this would make a great addition to your vintage collection or to jam and play with.

I  HAVE A VERY OLD [78 YEARS] EPIPHONE MASTERBILT TRIUMPH GUITAR UP FOR BID. SERIAL NUMBER 7228 STAMPED INTO THE INSIDE OF THE BACK JUST UNDER THE EPIPHONE STICKER. YOU CAN SEE IT THROUGH THE F HOLE. THIS WAS ONLY DONE FOR 1932 AND 33 BUT A FEW REAL EARLY 34'S HAD THIS STAMPED INTO THE WOOD ITSELF. AFTER THAT THE STAMPS WERE ON THE STICKER ITSELF. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES IT HAS SOME WARE. BUT FOR AS OLD AS SHE IS IT'S IN GOOD SHAPE AND STILL SOUND GREAT.THIS 34 TRIUMPH ARCHTOP WAS GIVIN TO ME IN 1957 BY MY COWBOY DAD SO WE COULD PLAY TOGETHER, WHICH WE DID UP UNTILL HE PASSED. I WAS 7 YEARS OLD WHEN I GOT IT. I'VE GRADUATED OVER THE YEARS AND THIS HAS JUST SAT AROUND COLLECTING DUST, SO I THINK IT IS TIME TO SELL THE OLD GIRL TO SOMEONES COLLECTION,BECAUSE THATS WHERE SHE BELONGS. Stamped factory "Second" on back of headstock (that previous owner tried to scratch out and refinish?)  Replaced tuners.  Slight hump in lower bout. Item Details

For your consideration is this vintage 1968 Epiphone FT-90 El Dorado acoustic flat top guitar by Gibson. This particular example, serial number 520008, is in very excellent all original condition. The El Dorado is a slightly more appointed Texan, with a bound fingerboard as opposed the Texan's unbound board, metal button Klusons instead of the FT-79's (Texan's model number) plastic buttons, and multi-ply bindign on the back instead of the Texan's single layer of binding along the back. Otherwise, the two are identical. With late-60's Texans and Gibson J-50s selling for upward of $3,500.00, it would be a good idea to take advantage of this No Reserve auction with FREE U.S.A. shipping and discounted Worldwide delivery, as the highest bidder will win... regardless of price!

This attractive El Dorado features; the standard spruce top, mahogany back and sides, a 1-piece mahogany neck featuring a very comfortable slim taper profile with factory large frets, 3-in-a-row double-line Kluson Deluxe tuning machines with the original nickel buttons, a bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with parallelogram inlays, a 1 9/16? nut width, a dark tortoise (4) screw guard, a Brazilian rosewood bridge with an adjustable rosewood saddle, original white plastic bridge pins, original single strap pin, original truss rod cover, original tuner ferrules and an era appropriate soft case.

Most importantly, this example is perfectly solid with no issues (NO cracks, NO breaks, NO repairs) whatsoever. While it is quite clean and presentable with no dramatic or obvious playing wear, it is in fantastically functional form. The action is super low, and it feels more like an electric guitar than an acoustic with respect to the playability. The late-60's Gibson-made acoustics are slightly over-built with more substantial bracing, which makes them super solid and tight sounding; capable of heavy-handed intense strummers, (thought we're not condoning beating it up...) it also responds nicely to intricate playing as well.

Cosmetically, this guitar is very nice, as stated. It exhibits some expected random dings around the side, but in general, the guitar is intact and crisp with not much wear on the back, sides, or neck. There is beautiful weather checking on the top of the guitar, as well as the headstock and back of the guitar.
The guitar is perfectly solid. The bridge is firmly affixed with no lifting or bellying. There are no drying cracks, pickguard cracks, loos braces, etc.

The only minor distractions include; the missing "e" logo from the pickguard, which a reissue emblem can be used to restore it for less than $20, and the added Gibson strap button near the heal, which was added by the previous owner.

This exact guitar was purchased from Guitar Center 5 years ago for over $2,400, and is currently being sold with No Reserve and Worldwide delivery, so bid now, as the highest bidder will win regardless of price!
