You are bidding on an Epiphone SST Classic 2.0Acoustic Electric Guitar Instead of the tried and tested combination of a hollow body and soundhole, the SST Classic 2.0 acoustic-electric guitar was developed by Epiphone to combat the inherent feedback problems that threaten acoustic performance at high volumes.  In a unique construction coup, this nylon-string guitar boasts a revolutionary solid-body design using a spruce top and mahogany body, combined with computer-designed sound chambers to deliver natural acoustic tone.  They don't have soundholes because they don't need them. The SST Classic 2.0 features a 2" nut and unrivaled comfort of a SlimTaper Mahogany neck, along with the security of professional classical tuners and a rosewood bridge.  This guitar features an SST Classic preamp with active volume and EQ controls, the Shadow NanoFlex bridge pickup to convey the gorgeous raw tone through your amp or PA, and an innovative headphone/amp switch that lets you plug a set of regular headphones into the output jack and practice quietly.  Not a piezo, the NanoFlex's unique flexible sensing material features integrated active electronics and picks up not only string vibration but also top and body vibrations as well without the harshness of piezos.

The guitars that I sell at Rik's Guitar Heaven have varied backgrounds
and are considered either "USED" or factory "2nd".

I purchase them from the largest instrument refurbishing center in the world and dealer certified technicians return them, in most cases, to like new condition.

One of the biggest questions I get asked is,
"What makes a guitar fall into the category of "USED"?"

This could be for any number of reasons. The most common issues are minor cosmetic blemishes, electronics that need to be repaired or replaced, hardware that needs to be repaired or replaced such as tuners, bridge saddles, etc or structural defects.

Because of this, a "USED" or "2nd" stamp is imprinted on the back of the headstock so that it can no longer be sold as new. This stamp protects the consumer as well as the manufacturer from dishonest retailers.

NOTE: I do not sell guitars with structural defects unless specifically
mentioned and, if I see a blemish, I do my best to describe
it in the listing and to photograph it.

THIS BEAUTIFUL GUITAR DOES HAVE A COUPLE OF FLAWS ON THE BODY.

THEY CANNOT BE FELT AND THE FINISH IS NICE AND SMOOTH.

I work very hard to insure that I ship the very highest quality instruments possible.
The guitars are inspected 5 times before I get them.

For the most part I ship using FedEx.
